What this site is
IEMs are a deep hobby with a lot of jargon: drivers, targets, bores, pins. Most people just want a pair that fits and sounds good for their budget. We built this site to explain the parts that matter, with drawings, and to point you to the independent measurements and reviews that already exist.
How we choose
We have not tested these products ourselves. Nothing on this site claims hands-on testing, listening sessions, measurements or scores of our own. Instead:
- Specs come from makers and retailers. Driver types, connectors and impedance come from the maker or from listings that reproduce the maker’s spec sheet, linked on each page. Where sources disagree, we say so or leave the number out.
- Sound descriptions come from independent reviewers. When we say a set is bright or balanced, we name and link the reviewer who said it, such as Headfonia, Headphonesty or SoundGuys.
- Measurements are theirs, not ours. For graphs we point to squig.link and Crinacle’s ranking list.
- Curves on this site are illustrations. Every frequency curve drawing is labeled as an illustrative shape. None is a measurement of any product.
- No scores, no star ratings, no prices. Prices change daily and we have no test data to score with. Where we mention a price, it is the list price a linked source reported, as context for the tier.
- Uncertain means we say so. Mic quality, sleep comfort and fit vary by person, and we tell you when evidence is thin.

Hearing safety
IEMs put sound close to your eardrum. Keep the volume moderate, take breaks, and see an audiologist if you notice ringing or muffled hearing.
Corrections
Models get revised and listings change. We review pages regularly and each page shows when it was last reviewed.
